Non-Fiction Book Club

If you are curious and enjoy reading, the Non-Fiction Book Club may be a fit for you. We explore all topics from birds to Bora Bora, inspiring biographies to historical scandals, the natural world to outer space. Approximately 6-12 members participate each month. Feel free to come regularly or drop-in if the topic interests you.

The Non-Fiction Book Club meets every 3rd Tuesday, 1:00 pm-2:30 pm. Consider joining us as we read:

Where do we meet?
At present, we meet in members’ homes but also will meet in local restaurants.
How do in-person meetings protect participants’ health? The Non-Fiction Book Club follows the health and safety guidelines issued by AAUW-Nevada County Branch and informed by the Nevada County Public Health Department. We can/will meet on Zoom if members agree and/or to protect members’ health due to the pandemic.

If you plan to attend for the first time, please contact Diane ahead of time if possible. Sometimes the meeting location changes or there is specific parking information that will be useful.
