Paula Stephan heads the Branch’s Walking Group, which focuses on walks of a less demanding rigor than AAUW Hikers. An example of one of their selected walks is described as follows:

The AAUW walkers group did a slow and steady walk on the Litton Trail in Grass Valley. It was a beautiful day walking along the NID ditch and hearing the rippling water. There were benches along the walk, and we took full advantage of them. Our next walk will be on May 2nd at 10:00 and we have decided to walk Wolf Creek Trail. We will meet at the North Star Mining Museum: Look for the Wolf Creek Trail sign at the corner of Freeman Lane and Allison Ranch Road. Hope you can join us!
