The Gallivanters are now in full swing, having completed a couple of activities. Most recently, Lisa Turlo hosted a game night where everyone wined & dined beforehand. As you can see, they had a fabulous time, playing cards, word games, even ping pong. Wow!!

By popular acclaim, the name of our new activity group is Gallivanters.

In October event, we successfully navigated the Black Swan Trail, then celebrated with sumptuous brown bag lunches on the shore of Black Swan Lake. The Black Swan trail is an old hydraulic mining site. There was interesting scenery with jagged cliffs and a man-made lake. A nice fall hike since it is at a lower elevation.

The November event was hosted by Lisa Turlo and her husband, Jim, where we held a Game Night as well as a potluck dinner. This event took place Tuesday, November 19 from 4 – 8 pm. December’s event will be dinner at Sopa Thai (Nevada City) preceding the planned Off Broad Street show that is our Branch holiday event. You do not have to be signed up for the show to attend dinner. Sign-ups for this dinner will be announced soon.
